CITTADELLA MEDITERRANEA DELLA SCIENZA BARI

VISIT US

The Mediterranean City of Sciences is divided into seven subject areas:

  • Appearance and Reality
  • Water
  • Light, Colours, Images
  • From the Sea to Salt
  • Materials of the Future
  • Mini Darwin in the Galąpagos
  • Telecommunication and Radio Astronomy

each one provides hands-on interactive exhibits and multimedia products.

Visitors can also carry out some simple experiments by using instruments and images from Apulia museums and local sites such as Le Saline di Margherita di Savoia and Castellana Grotte.

At the end of the visit, workshops are provided on the subject of water which is a very interesting issue for the South of Italy and, in particular, for Apulia.

The Mediterranean City of Sciences houses temporary exhibitions and events.
